In February 2026 the Harris Poll surveyed 1,223 employed Americans for INTOO, a career services company. 79% said that mistakes at their workplace are typically treated as learning opportunities. 81% said they feel safe trying new things.
In the same survey, 41% said they were afraid that if they made a mistake at work, they could be fired.
