The research describes how people in a culture think and work. It does not describe etiquette. It explains the reasons behind the behavior, with the evidence under each statement where we have it.

The advisor talks a real situation through with you. You describe what happened, it asks which cultures are involved, and it answers from the research.

Coverage

The research is organized by country, topic and subtopic, for example Germany > Communication > Small Talk. Each subtopic has a statement on how people in that culture think and work. Under Patterns, evidence posts show the statement in real life, with examples from different areas of society.

Germany and the United States. Researchers gathered the information. John Magee did the analysis and formulated the statements. Every statement has evidence posts under it. Some come from our researchers, the rest from the AI Claude.

The other 63 countries. Claude did the analysis and formulated the statements, under John Magee’s instructions and with the same framework. The statements are systematic and consistent. Most of these countries do not yet have evidence posts. India now has them, from Claude. China is next.

As revenue allows, we will bring more of the major countries to the level of Germany and the United States: human-led research, assisted by AI. More on how we do the research is on the Research page.

Payment is by credit card only. There is no automatic renewal. Fair use is three hundred questions to the advisor in thirty days. Normal use stays well below that.
