In February 2023 two senior officers in Karnataka, the IPS officer D. Roopa and the IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri, had a public dispute. Both met the Chief Secretary, Vandita Sharma.
A day later, on February 21, both officers “were both transferred without a posting,” The Week reported. The South First added that “Both officers have been issued warnings by the state government.”
