Step 3 – Address

As colleagues you identified the current problems in your cross-border collaboration. Now identify which of those problems you as a global team should address:

3.1  Group

Share your responses to the Problems-exercise with colleagues from same-country. Individually read and reflect on those responses. Then, together as colleagues from same-country, group your responses. Your colleagues in other-countries will do the same.

3.2  Recommend

Send your grouped problems to the colleagues in other-countries. They will send their grouped problems to you. Individually read and reflect on their problems. They will read and reflect on the problems you and your colleagues sent to them. Then, as colleagues from same-country, meet and discuss. Finally, recommend those problems which you believe should be addressed by the entire team.

3.3  Decide

Send your problems-to-be-addressed to the colleagues from other-countries. They will send their problems-to-be-addressed to you. Individually read and reflect on their problems. They will read and reflect on the problems you and your colleagues have sent to them. Finally, together as colleagues from all-countries, meet, discuss and decide which problems should be addressed by the entire team.

Ok, it’s time to meet as a global team and solve the problems. Go to Step 4 – Resolve.
